Dear, I have known Marie as my Czech language teacher for 52 individual hours for October 2013 till June 2014. As a Sales Manager for Central Europe living in Czech Republic, I was willing to learn this difficult language. First, we had a coffee to have an open talk, I explained my expectations and she told me the different opportunities I had; individual classroom, group lessons or Skype conferences. As a complete beginner I chose the individual classroom. Every Monday and Wednesday I had my Czech lesson in her office, each lesson lengths 1 hour. Marie was always welcoming me with a smile and a cup of tea. She is not just only waiting for you to teach the lesson and read a textbook, she is as welcoming as professional. Marie knows how to teach the Czech language to beginner. When I first went to the lesson I was not able to say a word, and step by step I was able to make sentences, read some articles, and understand chat between people. Marie is willing to help you to increase your Czech level; she is demanding but tolerant at the same time. It was always with pleasure and motivation that I went to the lessons. Even the homework was not a problem. I remember when I was student I hated to do my exercises, but in that case it was like a game to show to Marie that I understood what we did last time. I think that she has all the skills to be a good teacher; motivated, patient, professional, smiley, welcoming, demanding and she is willing to share her knowledge and culture about her country. Her skills and motivation made her a brilliant teacher. If you are looking for a Czech teacher, no matter if you are beginner or if you already have some backgrounds, I strongly recommend you to choose Marie as a teacher. She has excellent interpersonal skills and is an effective teacher. Overall, Marie's enthusiasm, her remarkable ability to be flexible, her generosity, energy, high standards and dedication will make her an excellent teacher.

"Marie is a very kind and good Czech teacher. She effectively teaches us not only Czech knowledge but also interesting information about Czech life.
She always thinks about students a lot then if you learn Czech with her, you'll get motivated and improved Czech amazingly. (In my case, I could become to understand most of Czech daily conversation and make myself understood in Czech simple sentences in 2 months individual course.)
Then you'd get much more beautiful life in Czech Republic with higher language skills!"

To whom it may concerns: It is my pleasure to write this letter for Marie Sladkova. In the year 2009 when I was studying at VSB- Technical University of Ostrava,Marie was working at International office for foreign students. My first impression of her is that she is very friendly and helpful to foreign students, and explained everything to them in clarity. During a couple of months, Marie taught me Czech language at free time. Although the time is very short for a complicated language like Czech, I learned a lot from Marie and found interest in Czech language. Marie has excellent pronunciation, in addition, she is very patient to first beginner, using interesting analogy and small stories to teach the usage of Czech words. Surely, she was born to be a good teacher. With any further requirement, please not hesitate to contact me, I am very glad to be a help for you.
